LOS ANGELES — Adult film star James Deen appears in the July issue of GQ, which hit newsstands today as his remarkable year of mainstream media attention rolls on.
The new issue features swimsuit model Kate Upton on the cover.
In GQ's online preview, the iconic men's magazine teases the following features: Jack White, The Tastiest Food in the Funkiest Places, The Greatest Team in the History of Sports, American Gymnasts, Chris Hemsworth, Preppy Style, Nick Offerman, Bob Dole, James Deen, Aaron Sorkin the Best Jeans and T-Shirts in the Land, and a Guide to the Hippest City in the U.S.A.
Deen last week garnered national headlines when writer Brett Easton Ellis announced that the 26-year-old performer had landed the lead role opposite Lindsay Lohan in the upcoming film "The Canyons."
An eight-year adult industry veteran who won the 2010 XBIZ Male Performer of the Year award, Deen is also slated to be featured in an upcoming edition of Rolling Stone.
