LOS ANGELES — Adult film star Nikki Benz appears in the new music video "Lose Yourself" from the mainstream movie "My Trip Back from the Dark Side," which is currently in post production.
The music video is directed by Shane Stanley, a multi-Emmy Award-winning filmmaker best known for directing Poison's Bret Michaels' music videos and executive producing "Gridiron Gang" starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson for Sony Pictures.
Benz does a cameo as a feature dancer in the new movie, which was also directed by Stanley. The plot of the film revolves around the true story of a man who had a successful film career but after falling on hard times can only find employment working in the adult entertainment industry as a means to provide for his family.
The official "Lose Yourself" music video has just been released on YouTube.
Benz is also celebrating her nomination this week by Exotic Dancer for Adult Feature Entertainer of the Year for the 15th annual Adult Nightclub and Exotic Dancer Awards on Aug. 28 in Las Vegas.
Benz is having one of her best years in the business yet. Along with being the 2011 Penthouse Pet of the Year, Benz is one of only a handful of adult stars to be featured in the new Saints Row: The Third DLC.
In addition, she shot a cameo in "Pain & Gain" directed by Michael Bay, starring Mark Wahlberg and The Rock. Last month Howard Stern awarded her the title of the "World's Strongest Naked Woman." Benz also joined forces with Vicky Vette in the VNA Network of websites and has been feature dancing in the USA and Canada.
"2012 has been literally non-stop. I love doing mainstream!" Benz said. "I’ve been fortunate enough to work with Michael Bay, Fox Sports and appear in music videos. The fans can see me in different environments.
"That being said, being an adult star gave me the opportunities I am now getting in mainstream so I am never going to forget my roots. I love being a porn star! Adult is where I am always going to be. I am in the process of supercharging my official site with all new stuff and rest assured I am going to be feature dancing as long as the fans want to continue seeing me get naked and entertain them on stage.
