NEW DELHI, India — Adult star Sunny Leone’s meteoric rise to celebrity status has India’s porn loving public drooling, but the country’s self-proclaimed “queen of sex” doesn’t like it and will appear completely nude for the first time to prove she’s hotter.
Sapna, the country’s long-standing sexy B-movie star has never completely shown her naked body in her more than 300 films spanning her 16-year film career, but has now thrown down the gauntlet.
The actress is appearing in “No. 1 Dirty Heroine Sapna” but carped that she should have been tapped over Leone for the lead in Pooja Bhatt’s upcoming mainstream Bollywood film “Jism 2."
Sapna feels that Leone was picked only because of her porn star celebrity.
“I want to show people what real sex appeal is all about. Mr. Bhatt has casted porn actress Sunny Leone in his film, though I have been doing the most desperate hot sex scenes in various movies during my career of 16-years, Sapna told Pakistan’s Weekly Blitz.
“I will prove, porn star Sunny Leone is nothing in front of me, when it comes to making audience mad with extreme sex appeal.”
Leone got her break during her headline making stint in India's popular Bigg Boss TV series.
But her highly anticipated debut in “Jism 2” was tempered somewhat with reports that her love scene with leading man Randeep Hooda was less than scintillating.
Although director Bhatt admitted that the two actors' chemistry was off, he said the initial awkwardness worked perfectly for the movie and their characters.
“Sunny and Randeep were shy with each other but that worked for me as they're meant to be awkward with each other initially in the film,” Bhatt said. “Sex is pivotal to brand 'Jism.' My actors don't sing, dance or have sex for mere effect. They do so because it is integral to the script and hurtles the story forward.”
Sapna also blasted other sexy Indian stars including Poonam Pandey and Veena Malik, calling Pandey “all skin and bones” and saying that Malik has been disowned and thrown out of her own country.
“Most girls in the film industry are only good at bed work [sex with the producers and other important figures in the industry]. They have no understanding of camera work, dance and acting. Girls like Poonam Pandey, Rozlyn Khan, Veena Malik and others who cannot act, are making money by circulating fake nude photographs in the media. Most girls are only capable of bed work,”
She added, “All of my films have earned money for the producers. Some of my films have earned about 10 times of the cost involved. But still I do not get adequate media exposure just because, I love to work and hate in spending time in releasing self-cooked rumors and news in the media.
“What do these girls have? I have done 300 films and have a huge fan following. I am the Queen of Sex,” Sapna said.
There has been no comment from Leone.
