Stag Shop Site Sees 3X Traffic Jump After Playboy Show

CAMBRIDGE, Ontario — For several days after Stag Shop representative Carmen Weiss joined hosts Christy Canyon and Ginger Lynn on the Playboy Radio show “Night Calls,” the company’s website experienced a three-fold increase in hits, the company said.

Stag Shop operates a chain of 16 brick-and-mortar retail locations but recently launched a new website and has increased its attention to reaching online buyers. Part of that effort, according to publicist Jennifer Jean, includes innovative promotional appearances like Weiss’s interview on “night Calls,” which airs Friday nights at 9 p.m. on Sirius Satellite.

Weiss talked about the company’s new focus on enhancing sex-positive attitudes and sexual well-being and its best-selling products. She reports that the company was overwhelmed with customer requests for products highlighted during the broadcast, including Arouze gel, the Dynamic Dolphin and the Liberator.

“We've noticed a significant increase in the amount of traffic to our website since the Playboy Radio interview,” Weiss told XBIZ. “Not only have hits to our site increased, customers from all over the U.S. and Canada are ordering the featured products. We've even had to place a rush order of Arouze clitoral gel to accommodate for the demand. The show has done wonders for promoting the Stag Shop.”

For their part, Canyon and Lynn enjoyed getting first-person demonstrations of Stag Shop toys, so much so that Weiss promised to send them a care package full of their favorites.

“I had an amazing time on Night Calls with Christy Canyon and Ginger Lynn,” Weiss said. “They were so much fun, and I loved sharing our products with them. Ginger Lynn was especially excited about trying our Arouze clitoral gel. I can't wait to send her some goodies.”

Canyon and Lynn also talked with Weiss about Stag Shop's upcoming Sexual Awareness Seminars, which begin June 2006.
