The footage can be seen in the upcoming film “Before They Were Porn Star.”
Working as an amateur stripper in a Florida club, Mary Carey was only 19 when she met up with one of Platinum's videographers in a hotel room to do an impromptu solo shoot.
“We never even knew what we had until a customer pointed her out two years ago,” Mandi Michaels, production director for Platinum Media, said. “We meet all kinds of down to earth girls who want to make a video for the fun of it and to earn a few bucks for college. Mary Ellen Cook fit the perfect amateur niche. She was natural, funny and even a little shy. Mary was just another model on our list, until we realized how blind we were on just what we had.”
The film will be released in late June.
