BURBANK, Calif. — TMZ.com is highlighting the booming sales of Fun Factory Smartballs kegel exercisers that’s resulted from the “Fifty Shades of Grey” craze.
"We are on FOX today at 1:30 p.m., 3 p.m. and 6 p.m.," Fun Factory USA’s Emilie Rosan said. "We are selling more Smartballs than ever. At the time, it's become nearly impossible to keep up with the demand. People have been calling all day from Canada and everywhere in the U.S. We have a full-time person just on phone duty and Smartballs orders at the moment!"
According to TMZ.com, a Fun Factory rep sent a “thank you letter to ‘Fifty Shades’ publisher Vintage Books, writing, ‘in the last month, our Smart Balls sales have gone up 300%."
In “Fifty Shades of Grey,” the character Christian Grey uses Ben Wa balls on his female submissive.
Rosan said Fun Factory recently received a letter from a 74-year-old lady in Dubai that says: “I have 74 years old from Dubai. I read ‘50 Shades of Grey’ on my travel. I want one FUN FACTORY SMARTBALLS for exercise in my pubic. I go on www.funfactoryusa.com but i don't find the black balls. How is possible please?"
