The list, which comes as a supplement to the magazine, ranks the 100 hottest stars in the industry. The staff at Genesis, with assistance from adult industry insiders, compiles the annual list and ranks stars on a variety of factors, including overall popularity, exposure, body of work, accolades, accomplishments, buzz and the x-factor — how hot the starlet is.
“As always, it's hard picking 100 girls for our list, let alone ranking them,” Dan Davis, editor-in-chief of Genesis, said. “They're all hot, and all stars in our book. This is a huge project for us every year, but our readers and the girls look forward to it.”
According to Davis, the issue is usually the best-selling edition of the magazine each year.
The list, which began with more than 400 names, found two Vivid contract girls at the top. Jenna Jameson and Tera Patrick took first and second, respectively.
“Jenna remains one of the biggest names in the history of the adult film industry,” Davis said. “She is constantly helping to bring the adult film industry to new levels and break down mainstream barriers.”
Jameson, who described the recognition as “awesome,” was pleased to see that ClubJenna Girls McKenzie Lee (18), Ashton Moore (40) and Jesse Capelli (46) cracked the top 50.
“It's quite an honor for our company since we're so new,” Jameson said. “I am really proud of my girls.”
Digital Playground star Jesse Jane came in third, while Carmen Luvana of Adam & Eve took fourth place. Wicked Pictures’ Stormy Daniels rounded out the top five.
Finishing up the top 10 were Janine, Savanna Samson, Katie Morgan, Briana Banks and Audrey Hollander.
