VENICE, Calif. — In an unexpected twist Rising Star PR has announced that both Leya Falcon and Nicki Blue have won its three-year anniversary contest for Next Rising Star of 2012.
After two weeks of fan voting on Twitter for the Sweet Six, these two competitors both racked up a thousand votes and came within ten votes of one another, prompting a tie.
“I've never seen anything like it,” said Devan Cypher, Rising Star PR founder. “Both girls were so competitive yet they remained kind to one another, encouraging their voters and complimenting one another. Both girls have shown they have the drive and class to make it as super stars in this business.”
Bothe girls have been named winners and will receive complimentary services from Rising Star PR for the next month. In addition to a full month of publicity, the girls will share a booth at the upcoming LA Adultcon.
The lineup of runners-up — Allie James, Jenna J Ross, Katt Dylan and Kendra Lust — will also be offered reduced price booths at the show.
“This contest has really brought the best out in all the girls,” Cypher said. “We had some of the girls encouraging their followers to vote for other contestants! It is because of this spirit of cooperation that we have decided to offer special summer rates not just to our Sweet Six but to any new performer interested in promoting themselves. Adultcon will be held at the LA Convention Center July 27-29 and Nov. 1-3 in Las Vegas.
