Dick Delaware Eyes Rage in the Cage Title

LOS ANGELES — Adult performer Dick Delaware, aka Aaron Brink, will take on Joe Riggs tonight in a mixed-martial-arts fight at Rage in the Cage 159 at Wild Horse Pass Casino in Chandler, Ariz.

The fight, which is the main event of an 11-bout card, is for the vacant 205-pound (light heavyweight) Rage in the Cage title belt.

Delaware less than five weeks ago fought at the same venue, losing via a tap-out in the second round to Julian Hamilton at Rage in the Cage 158.

He enters the fight with Riggs with a 25-22-1 record in an MMA career that began in 1998. The 37-year-old fighter/porn star two weeks ago completed the biggest adult film role of his career, starring as the lead in Axel Braun's "This Ain’t Terminator XXX 3D" for Hustler Video.

“It was really cool being the lead of the movie,” Delaware said. “Everyone likes the idea of me being The Terminator, and we copied it perfect.”

Delaware, who is from Huntington Beach and fighting out of Big Bear, Calif., knows the 29-year-old Riggs well. A native of Phoenix, Riggs is 35-14 overall and has fought 18 times for the Rage in the Cage promotion alone, in addition to eight appearances in the UFC and more recently six in Strikeforce. To call Riggs the hometown favorite tonight would be an understatement.

“He’s a legend over there,” Delaware said. “He is the most successful fighter that has ever stepped into the Rage in the Cage arena. I’ve seen a lot of video on him. His game-plan is out there. I know his options, so I’m not going to come in there as nervous. A lot of times you just don’t know. This time I’m equipped with a lot more info on my opponent and I know the guy. He’s been more of a professional acquaintance.”

Delaware next week will be in Florida for adult film work and also has scenes lined up with Lethal Hardcore. In addition, he said he has been cast in Braun's upcoming parody of "The Expendables."
