Desjardins Joins Evil Angel

LOS ANGELES, Calif. — Evil Angel has tapped online marketing guru John Desjardins to breathe new life into its online properties, helping the video giant build an empire in cyberspace.

Desjardins, who many webmasters know by the handle JJSLIMM, has nearly eight years of online marketing experience, most recently with Danni.com, where he served as Affiliate Marketing Manager.

The decision to hire Desjardins is a bold step for the well-known video company that presently lacks an online punch.

“They [Evil Angel] have the best content in the world,” Desjardins told XBIZ. “It’s just amazing, insane stuff. But they’re very new to the online world. That’s why I’m here.”

According to Desjardins, the online push should take about three months, as he helps Evil Angel find new revenue streams, handle billing and affiliate issues and develop the tools necessary to sell the sites.

“I'm confident that my skills in running online businesses and in Internet marketing will bring exciting new programs to Evil's already strong adult presence,” Desjardins said. “I am looking forward to introducing many of the latest techniques in meeting the needs of Evil Angel Cash affiliates.”

Beyond developing Evil Angel’s online presence, Desjardins will work closely with the company’s directors to promote their sites. Among the directors that Desjardins plans to promote heavily are company owner John “Buttman” Stagliano, Jules Jordan, Jonni Darkko, Rocco Siffredi, Christoph Clark and Justin Slayer.

In fact, it was Darkko who brought Desjardins to the attention of Evil Angel.

“I’m friends with Jonni, and we’ve been talking about this for a while,” Desjardins said.

According to Desjardins, marketing the Evil Angel brand online won’t be a hard sell. While the Internet is known for niche markets, he thinks that Evil Angel is a company that has the market covered.

“Evil Angel is strong in every niche,” Desjardins said. “They’ve got the full range.”
