East Coast News Debuts Earth-Friendly Product Selection

HIGHTSTOWN, N.J. — East Coast News has created a permanent section of its website for Earth-friendly pleasure products.

ECN says it believes environmentally friendly products make up a market segment that is not only good for the Earth, but also for business.

“We’ve heard from adult retailers that are dedicating entire sections of their stores to Earth-friendly items,” ECN’s Product Liaison Heather Rega said. “We applaud this trend and want to do whatever we can to assist retailers who are looking to make a difference.”

Recognizing that “eco friendly” means different things to different people, ECN says it is looking at a variety of criteria when selecting products for the section. Some of the items included are organic/vegan lubes and lotions, toys made from natural materials like glass or metal, powered toys that feature rechargeable batteries, phthalate free items and products packaged in recycled materials.

By creating this new section, the distributor says it is providing its customers a centralized location featuring those products. ECN’s Earth-friendly efforts also include plans to encourage retailers to prominently display eco-friendly options.

“We want our customers to proudly show consumers that they can be environmentally aware — even when buying sex toys,” Rega said.

ECN’s Earth-friendly section can be found on ECN.com.
