LOS ANGELES — A video clip from Mike John’s “POV Pervert 8” distributed by Jules Jordan Video is prominently featured in the opening scene of the hit comedy "American Reunion” now in theatres nationwide.
Adult performer Natasha Nice stars in the clip that was directed by Mike John, who is well known for his POV camerawork. “American Reunion” is the eighth installment in Universal Pictures’ “American Pie” franchise. The latest film debuted this past weekend to $21.5 million in box office receipts.
In the “American Reunion” opening scene, the sexually awkward Jim (Jason Biggs) is seen alone with his computer while his wife is bathing. Moments later he encounters “POV Pervert 8” with Nice, and true to his character, Jim finds a sock and begins pleasuring himself.
Jordan told XBIZ that representatives of the filmmakers contacted his company for permission to use the clip.
“Featured in the trailers for ‘American Reunion,’ this is a key scene and one of the funniest in the movie,” Jordan said. “We can't think of a better scene to be caught masturbating to than this one. I think Jim really appreciated Mike John's POV skills, not to mention the beauty of Natasha Nice.”
Nice was recently featured as a Penthouse Pet of the Month for December 2011. “'POV Pervert 8,'" released in 2007, also includes performances by Mia Bangg, Lela Star, Tyra Moore, Alexis Silver, Bree Olson and Whitney Stevens.
Jordan's studio is the 2012 XBIZ Award-winner of Gonzo Company of the Year.
