TOKYO, Japan — Japanese porn star Sakura Kiryu is in the running to be “Miss Yakuza,” an “in-game” hostess for the popular Sega video crime game, “Yakuza 5.”
According to Katuka.com, Kiryu could follow in the footsteps of adult star Rio, a.k.a Tina Yuzuki, who filled a similar role in “Yakuza 4.”
Rio reportedly appeared in Japanese porn titles “ Squirting Young Wife” and “Let's Have Sex at School.”
In an apparent effort to downplay the porn connection, Sega’s official website lists Kiryu and other adult stars simply as “sexy talent.”
Kiryu’s last name is coincidentally the same as the game's protagonist, Kazuma Kiryu.
The star has been in adult films since 2008, and showed her stuff in “Water Pole 54” and “Let's Screw a Bunch Until Morning” among others.
Sega selected 15 potential “Miss Yakuzas” who will be promotional ambassadors and game talent from across Japanese cities including Sapporo, Tokyo, Osaka, Fukuoka and Nagoya.
Only five of the 15 will be selected and appear in the new game.
