LOS ANGELES — Circus Hooker Smut Regime is expanding its video offerings with CHS Striptease Theater, a specialized clips store dedicated to the art of striptease. The company said the collection will do homage to the classic tease, while updating the form with a modern approach.
"We wanted to take traditional burlesque further, tantalize the viewer but follow through," said Jimi King, one of the owners of CHS Regime and the studio's videographer.
"It's the best of both worlds. The tease is there, but with a bigger pay-off behind it."
With its Striptease Theater videos, the company uses elements of classic burlesque tease, bump and grind, and exotic dancing along with fetish content in vignettes suited to a video clip format.
The emphasis will be on variety, in style and theme as well as performers.
"The one constant in all our striptease videos is the building anticipation, the promise of seeing just a little bit more as the models take off their clothes, piece by piece," King said. "There are so many great possibilities, we can keep shooting videos and always do something new with it."
At its opening, the new CHS clips store includes niche stripping videos for fans of voyeur, boots, stockings, and smoking fetishes in styles from elegant film noir to playful geek chic.
Models will also suit diverse tastes, with different physical and performance types, from seasoned professionals to amateurs. CHS' first crop of private dancers includes notable adult performers and alt/fetish models Indigo Augustine, Sybil Hawthorne, Zoey Holloway, Diana Knight, Ivy Thornton, and Kayla-Jane Danger.
