MIAMI — Pleasure Dynasty, LLC announced on Monday that it is exclusively managing worldwide broadcast distribution for Latin production studio Dulce Media, producers of the hit Spanish language spoof "El Gordo y La Flaca XXX: Una Parodia Porno."
“We are excited to work with Dulce Media,” Pleasure Dynasty founder Carlos Cavero said. “Dulce Media has already proven to be innovative and driven, and now PD Films can help all its hard work pay off. We will maximize the exposure for Dulce Media and take the company to the next level of success.”
The Shy Love-directed "El Gordo y La Flaca XXX" was released in February through Hustler Video and immediately generated interest among Latin media and consumers eager to see what was promoted as "the first Spanish language porn parody."
Producers of the Univision entertainment news program "El Gordo y La Flaca" also embraced the send-up, and welcomed its stars to the show for a special "Hot Tub" segment with host Raúl de Molina last week.
Dulce Media owner Roman Tamez is now looking to build on the parody's momentum by aligning the studio with Pleasure Dynasty. "We are very excited to be working with PD Films," Tamez said. "Their owner, Carlos, is very energetic, and I think they are the perfect fit for our broadcast needs.”
