LOS ANGELES — Vivid Entertainment announced today that it will premiere director Axel Braun's "The Avengers XXX: A Porn Parody" online at Vivid.com on May 1. A DVD release will follow on May 8 through the studio's VividSuperXXXHeroes imprint.
Directed by Braun from a script he wrote with Mark Logan, "The Avengers XXX" finds S.H.I.E.L.D. head Nick Fury (Lexington Steele) enlisting the help of superheroes such as Iron Man (Dale DaBone), Spider-Man (Xander Corvus), and the Black Widow (Brooklyn Lee) to bring down a rampaging Hulk (Jordan Lane) in Las Vegas.
The big-budget spoof also stars Jenna Presley as Spider-Woman, Phoenix Marie as Sharon Carter, Lexi Swallow as Mr. Marvel, Danni Cole as Scarlet Witch, Eric Masterson as Hawkeye, Brendon Miller as Thor and former WWF star Chyna as The She-Hulk.
The DVD's release is set to coincide with that of Marvel Studios' eagerly anticipated Joss Whedon-directed tent-pole "The Avengers," but Braun cites two reasons why his send-up is better than the real thing.
He explained, "'The Avengers XXX' parodies some of the major superheroes, like the ridiculously sexy Ms. Marvel and Scarlet Witch, which have always been part of the erotic fantasies of every adult entertainment fan. And, my Nick Fury can totally kick Samuel L. Jackson's ass."
