LONDON — Adult performer Tanya Tate won a pair of 2012 Shafta Awards.
Tate was nominated for MILF of the Year and Best Reality/Gonzo Series at the Shafta Awards, which recognize the best in U.K. adult entertainment.
This year marked the third time Tate had been nominated and won the MILF of the Year award.
"I am grateful beyond words," Tate said. "I'm still in shock. Winning these Shafta awards is amazing. Firstly, I have to thank the fans, especially because the Shafta's are voted on by the public. I also want to thank my awesome publicity team at Star Factory PR and everyone at Television X. I look forward to making more hot and naughty U.K.-based adult films in the coming year."
Her second award win of the night was a Best Reality/Gonzo Series award for her follow-up to "Tanya Tate's Sex Tour of Ireland," "Tanya Tate's Sex Tour of Scotland."
The series showcased Tate giving first timers a chance to perform with her. This is the second Best Reality/Gonzo Series award Tanya has won.
Tate also acted as the red carpet host and behind-the-scenes interviewer for the Shafta uncut streaming video, where she talked with the winners and attendees.
The Shafta Awards were held in London on March 15.
