BigDotMedia Launches Ad Service AdultHardLinks

SYDNEY — BigDotMedia has rolled out a new blocked-base advertising service called AdultHardLinks where webmasters can purchase specific banner-sized advertisements on domain names within the network.

Adult HardLinks offers low-cost ad blocks for one-year commitments in three sizes: 50x50, 100x100 and 200x200 pixels. The smallest block — 50x50 pixels —  start at $2 per year.

Webmasters have the option to change the image, URL and image tags at any given time.

"The 12-month time period will not start until all advertising blocks are sold for each specific domain, giving webmasters more advertising for their buck," the company says. "Once the 12 months is finished, the buyer has the option to renew or let the block be purchased by another person."

Currently eight domains are in the network, but the company says it intends to add an extra 50 domains — all niche sites — in the coming weeks.
