LOS ANGELES — XBIZ TV has debuted an exclusive video interview with Ira Isaacs, the Los Angeles fetish film producer and distributor whose recent obscenity trial ended in a mistrial.
Jurors weighed charges that the filmmaker produced, sold and transported obscene material.
On Tuesday, jurors were declared deadlocked 10 to 2 in favor of convicting Isaacs. Two women voted against conviction, including a 75-year-old whose late husband made horror films.
Isaacs discusses details of the trial with XBIZ, along with how he got into the business of selling films with such niche themes as scatology and bestiality.
