Evolved Novelties Sponsors Brown University’s Sex Week

LOS ANGELES — Evolved Novelties has signed on as a sponsor of Brown University’s Sex Week, taking place March 11-17.

The event is organized by the Sexual Health Education & Empowerment Council who advocates for the sexual health and wellness of students by promoting an atmosphere of communication and co-operation. Evolved Novelties gets involved each year by donating toys for raffles and giveaways.

“Sexual health and education is extremely important to us at Evolved Novelties,” says Lucy Vonne D’Olimpio, sales executive and resident “toy whisperer” at the company. “We believe that sex education at the college level is vital to promoting healthy sex lives in our population as a whole, and so we value the chance to participate in an event like Sex Week that focuses on not only safe sex awareness, but also on pleasure.”

The seven-day event features lectures, films and multi-media presentations about sex, with a unifying theme this year of Sex Around The Globe. From multiracial lecture series to examinations of porn around the world, the event also promotes free HIV tests, which will be given in April.
