Vivid Movies Now Available on Roku Set-Top TV

LOS ANGELES — Vivid Entertainment announced its Vivid-Roku program today that allows Vivid.com subscribers to view the studio’s movies on their TVs via the Roku set-top box.

Subscribers will have access via Roku to Vivid’s complete library including celebrity sex videos, SuperXXXHeroes parodies and big-budget features at no additional cost.

The company said the new offering is the newest "Vivid Everywhere" initiative, which enables Vivid.com subscribers to view the studio's content via Google TV, mobile devices and other systems.

Roku is a streaming player, permitting users to enjoy movies and TV shows, live sports, music, games and other content, on-demand. Roku connects directly to TV sets and wireless (Wi-Fi) networks.

Using a remote, the viewer selects programming and it begins instantly.

"The Roku system gives our members who currently have mobile and desktop access the ability to watch our movies in HD right on their TVs at no extra cost," said Steven Hirsch, founder/co-chairman of Vivid. "It's another innovation demonstrating the kind of technology leadership our fans have come to expect from Vivid."
