Speedl Debuts New VOD Site

SAN FRANCISCO — Speedl has launched its pay-per-view porn site, Porn.Speedl.com.

The company said the site features a new, sleek, and high tech design, which focuses on users' needs.

Speedl, which stands for speed download, is an Internet pay-per-view porn site and provides a video-on-demand service based out of Silicon Valley, Calif. Founded in November 2009, the site launched in January.

"Our R&D team is developing innovative functions and features in Japan, where the adult video on demand market is the most competitive and bringing those innovations to the U.S. market," the company said.

Speedl provides full movies and scenes of 2mb and 512k encoded movies for download. The company said it is constantly adding new titles from major studios and providing 15 to 60 second previews of each movie.

The company said numerous genres and movie titles are available to download.

"With more than 300 different categories, users can search and find the movies that they are looking for," the company said. "Speedl is specialized in the high quality movie download service, delivering the highest quality as possible to their customers. This is the reason why Speedl is not planning to offer pay-per-minutes nor stream movies on the site at this moment. However, due to slower Internet connection speeds in some countries, Speedl also offers 512k encoded movies for those customers."

By the end of February, the company said it will have the CPUs upgraded for all servers to make them more reliable and provide faster downloads.
