Exquisite Films Ships 'Tomb Raider' Parody

CHATSWORTH, Calif. — “Tomb Raider XXX: An Exquisite Films Parody” ships to retailers today. Set to street on March 5, the Jordan Septo-directed spoof stars XBIZ award-winning starlet Chanel Preston as the iconic gun-toting archeologist Lara Croft.

The parody, which was marketed early on through such geek-friendly web portals as G4TV.com, CraveOnline.com and Gawker Media's Kotaku.com, has generated record pre-orders for producer/distributor Exquisite Films.

"The instant global brand recognition of the title and the star power of Chanel Preston make this movie a phenomenally hot property," noted Exquisite Films owner Jerry E. " With ‘Tomb Raider XXX: An Exquisite Films Parody,’ we targeted a thriving market and, right out of the gate, the response has been bigger than anything we’ve ever produced.”

Septo, who also penned the film's script, says he drew inspiration from studying the Eidos' game and from reading online comments from its fans.

"I wanted every aspect of this production to kick ass, from the fight scenes, to the sets and the costumes, to what happens when the costumes come off,” he said. "During production, we had a professional fight choreographer for the hand-to-hand combat sequences and an experienced rock climbing team to choreograph the exterior shots. The goal was to blow people away.”

“Tomb Raider XXX: An Exquisite Films Parody” costars Gracie Glam, Kagney Linn Karter, Nicole Aniston, Dani Daniels, Lee Stone, Anthony Rosano, Derrick Pierce, Danny Mountain, Evan Stone and Lea Lexis as Croft nemesis Jacqueline Natla.
