Stockroom University Hosting ‘Zap! Electric Toy Play’ Class Today

LOS ANGELES — Stockroom University has invited Ken Mevoin-Berg, the professor responsible for the infamous Northwestern University Fucksaw incident, to host the Zap! Electric Toy Play class set for today at the Stockroom/Syren Retail Boutique in Silver Lake.

The class will focus on toys that use direct or indirect electric stimulation to the human body.

“We will look at the correct use, safety, medical issues, hygiene and alternate uses for a variety of toys,” the company said. “Specifically we will learn about and play with both the direct and indirect use of electrodes on the human body with the Neon Wand and violet wands.”

A demo of a TENS unit and all the attachments that go along with it will be offered along with look at a new toy – a violet wand rope — with a question-and-answer session set to follow.

The Zap! Electric Toy Play class will be held next door to the Stockroom boutique today from 5-8 p.m.

Tickets to the event are $20 in advance or at the door. For RSVP and ticket sales, call (213) 989-0334 or click here.

Stockroom is located at 2809 ½ Sunset Blvd.
