HotMovies Discontinues Affiliate-Owned URL Custom Theaters

LOS ANGELES — HotMovies.com on Tuesday discontinued affiliate-owned URLs on custom video theaters, according to an announcement posted on the company's MovieDollars.com site.

The announcement was directed toward MovieDollars Webmasters that currently use the custom theater system.

"Mastercard has begun to enforce long standing rules and regulations on processing transactions and URLs," the announcement said. "Due to their rules we can no longer offer affiliate-owned URLs on custom theaters."
