The follow-up to last year’s Britney Rears DVD from X-Play/Hustler Video was ready to ship when the decision was made to switch to tamer box cover artwork.
“We had ‘Britney Rears 2’ all ready to go with a box cover that showed the world-famous Britney tits posing with nothing but a collection of press conference microphones,” Jeff Mullen, the movie’s co-producer, said, “but a few very important retail outlets voiced concern that they wanted to make huge Britney orders, but couldn’t display naked breasts in their stores in a number of cities. Since most buyers felt this would be their biggest-selling DVD for the next couple of months, we went with another great design that we had waiting in the wings.”
X-Play’s Scott David, the movie’s other co-producer, added, “We decided against a case [that showed] cover-to-cover her tits and went with the more colorful Britney 2 box that is being shipped now.”
The movie stars Britney Rears, Hillary Scott, Eva Angelina, Jenaveve Jolie, Sunny Lane, Nyomi Marcela, Shy Love, Nikki Hilton, Nadia Styles and Kapri Styles.
