XR Brands Promotes Randy Alvstad to General Manager

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. — Adult product manufacturer XR Brands has promoted Randy Alvstad to general manager with the responsibilities of maintaining the company’s core strength in the product design and branding realms while overseeing current and new strategic partnerships in the New Year.

Alvstad has been with XR Brands since 2006, having started as an international sourcing and sales and marketing consultant, he’s since moved into a more hands-on role.

Alvstad now will be responsible for all of XR Brands' sales management and expansion, new product creation and execution, marketing planning, account management and long-term product and brand development.

"As XR Brands has grown, so has the workload associated with its management," Alvstad said. "It is imperative that we have someone in place whose responsibility is to oversee daily business management and the long term progress of our efforts, and it's an honor to have been selected to take on that challenge."

According to the company, Alvstad also will be spending more time directly with customers, working closely with brand manager Michael Merrill at trade show and media events to promote the company's cadre of niche-oriented sex toy and intimate accessory collections. Alvstad and XR Brands account manager Deveni Christian will work hand-in-hand to strengthen the sales side of the business.

"For six years I've been privileged to work for a company that considers the livelihood of their employees as valuable as the products they produce," Alvstad said. "I'm confident that in my new role existing relationships will be unwavering, our lines will continue to be met with praise, and we will maintain XR Brands' reputation as a respected brand in the adult product industry."
