Tranny Awards Changes Venue to Accommodate Larger Crowd

BURBANK, Calif. — The 4th Annual Tranny Awards announced that it is moving to a larger venue to accommodate the growing number of attendees.

The show will now take place on Feb. 19 at the historic Los Globos Nightclub at 3040 West Sunset Blvd. — the spot of the first rave in the U.S. and one of the first gay clubs in Los Angeles.

Show producers said the club recently received a $1 million facelift making it even more plush.

Red carpet festivities will begin at 8:30 p.m. and the awards at 10 p.m.

“So many models, fans and industry members want to come out and we’ve sold a slew of tickets — it only makes sense to move the awards to a larger space. We want to ensure that everybody can attend who wishes to,” said Steven Grooby of Grooby Productions.

He added, “This will be our best awards yet and we’ve scored some amazing sponsors.”

Special Award Sponsors include Cam4, Tranny Box, Shemale Strokers, Kink.com, Joanna Jet, Third World Media and Simply Blown, among others.

Grooby said another “huge sponsor” will be announced next week.
