India Summer Receives MILF of the Year at the XBIZ Awards

RESEDA, Calif. — India Summer was named MILF of the Year at the XBIZ Awards.

The Girlfriends Films contract performer had a breakthrough year in 2011, including scenes in Girlfriends Films’ movies, like “Lesbian Sex: Volume 1.”

“I’m breathing in and savoring this moment,” Summer said. “I can honestly say when I entered the adult industry, I never expected to gather any top nominations, let alone awards. The other beautiful women in the category were all extremely deserving of the honor, causing my reality to exceed what I ever believed I had the right to hope for.”

Throughout the year, her name was often in the headlines for her roles on mainstream TV shows “Dexter” and “Sons of Anarchy.”

“Thank you to everyone at XBIZ, as well as all my colleagues, critics and fans,” she said.

“Also, my undying appreciation goes to Girlfriends Films for their constant and unwavering support. Dan, Moose, Prinzzess, Candi-Girl, Sabrina, Dave and the editors, Wilson, Dora, Adella, and Alex are the best family this childless MILF could ask for.”

Summer’s most recent movies for Girlfriends Films include “Lesbian PsychoDramas: Volume 7,” “Lesbian Sex: Volume 1,” “Women Seeking Women: Volume 78,” “Fashion House 2,” “Strays 1,” “Net Skirts 5.0,” and her directorial debut, “Perfect Fit.”

“Congratulations to India, an amazing and talented woman truly deserving of all the awards and praise she receives,” said Moose, Girlfriends Films vice president.

“India is blessed with a rare kind of beauty, which makes her increasingly more breathtaking with each year.”

The 2012 XBIZ was a big night for Girlfriends Films. In addition to Summer’s award, “Budapest” was awarded All-Girl Series of the Year, while Girlfriends Films owner Dan O’Connell was named Man of the Year as a result of his leadership throughout the industry.
