WASHINGTON — For the last seven years “Christmas” has won out over “porn” as the most searched term during the holiday season.
But this year may be different.
According to a Google Trends chart generated by an Atlantic search for Christmas websites, sex looks like it’ll beat Santa in 2011.
The stats showed that since 2004 more people searched "Christmas" more than any other term, but so far, "porn" is edging it out.
Of course “porn” typically eclipses most other searches for the rest of the year — despite what the anti-adult Scrooges out there might say.
