LOS ANGELES — skinworXXX director Joshua has received his first individual nomination for Best Director at the XBIZ Awards.
“Wow. My jaw is on the floor," Joshua said. "I’m starting my fifth year in the adult business this January, and in the past four years, I’ve made six big movies.”
“All six of my movies have received Best In nominations for best movie in their respective categories. But, it has been an uphill business for me getting recognition since I was a plus one or a significant other to most people in adult, and finally I feel like maybe I can leave my suitcase behind and start focusing on directing the movies that fans really seems to have loved in the past four years. I really want to thank XBIZ both personally from me and everyone at skinworXXX and Adam & Eve.”
This year, with no “Deviance” sequel due until 2012, Joshua released “Forbidden” and “Harder.”
The 2012 XBIZ Awards show, presented by MyFreeCams.com, is scheduled to take place Jan. 10.
