Shunga Erotic Art Nominated in 4 2012 XBIZ Awards Categories

MONTREAL — Shunga Erotic Art has once again been recognized as a leader in the field of intimate cosmetic products and is being nominated in four different XBIZ Award categories.

Two products from Shunga’s organic line, Lotus Flower Oriental Crystals bath salts and the Organica Green Tea Erotic Massage Oil, are nominated for Sensual Bath & Body Product of the Year.

Shunga also is nominated for International-Based Pleasure Products Company of the Year, Sexual Stimulant Company of the Year and Excellence in Product Packaging.

“Shunga has always been famous for its full range of high-quality stimulants and sensual products,” said Angela Mustone, director of market development for Shunga. “Being nominated in these categories for the next XBIZ award show in January is exciting and also proves that Shunga has forged itself a strong reputation over the years. The Quebec market and Europe is where it all started for us, but the Americans are responding more and more to our offer, as they are looking for something different and more sophisticated.”

Shunga recently took home the Erotixxx 2011 Award for Best Female Product at during October’s eroFame in Germany for its latest addition to the Shunga line, the Hold me Tight vaginal tightening gel.

“Shunga is dedicated to providing the best products possible and controls every step of the production process in order to do so; from research & development, formulation, manufacturing, design & packaging, shipping and sales & marketing,” Mustone said. “With packaging reminiscent of Japanese erotic artworks and design, Shunga products are very distinctive.”

The 2012 XBIZ Awards show, presented by MyFreeCams.com, is scheduled to take place Jan. 10.
