CARSON, Calif. — Locations for porn shoots come and go in the biz, but one Southern California property owner hopes his condo becomes a regular draw for the industry.
The condo, branded as SexLoftLA and includes its own slick website, comes complete with Liberator sex furniture, a swing, custom-built bed and curved couches, as well as a 3D TV and camera and lighting equipment.
Allen, the property owner, told XBIZ that he's been marketing the residence in Carson, Calif., just south of Los Angeles, since October 2010.
"I started offering it for mainstream studios first, but then I added adult film shoots and swing parties," Allen said. "But one thing led to another ... it was really a domino effect."
The condo, described as a long-rectangular loft, measures about 1,100 square feet and includes transitional lighting throughout. It is "designed with impeccable attention to detail," Allen said.
SexLoftLA recently got a plug on Curbed Los Angeles, which opened its piece by asking the question, "Stuck with a condo you can't unload in this market? Someone in Carson has what is surely a lucrative and sexy plan."
