Buck Angel Appears on Huff Post Transgender List

LOS ANGELES — Buck Angel has been listed as a pioneer by the Huffington Post for Transgender Day of Remembrance.

Angel is one of 20 individuals to appear on the list.

His goal is to send a message of empowerment through self-acceptance and being sexually comfortable in one’s own skin.

Angel has focused on education and advocacy and has been speaking at universities to discuss sexuality and identity politics.

The International Transgender Day of Remembrance was created to memorialize transgendered people who have been victims of hate crime homicides.
