LAS VEGAS — Sophia Locke has received her first XBIZ Awards nomination for Web Babe of the Year.
“I’m completely thrilled and honored to have been included on such a short list of amazing online performers,” Locke said. “I’ve been, literally, jumping up and down since hearing about it.”
Her career began in early 2010 when she worked as a cam model on ImLive. She focused early on her website and built a following fan base with her humor, fun, sexuality, and knowledge of BDSM. Her personality has also been popular on MyFreeCams.com.
She is also hosting a mansion in Las Vegas during the industry expo.
Locke said she plans to expand her name by focusing on building an amateur adult production company in 2012, hosting further MFC model events, and performing in other videos for both online and offline distribution.
“When I started on this path over a year ago, I never would have anticipated the wonderful things that have come my way," she said. "This nomination is definitely one of the highlights of my career and I couldn’t be more genuinely honored for the recognition from XBIZ. I look forward to attending the awards in January.”
The 2012 XBIZ Awards show, presented by MyFreeCams.com, is scheduled to take place Jan. 10.
