Sportsheets Recognized With 3 XBIZ Award Nominations

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. — Sportsheets and its new brand Sex & Mischief has taken home nominations in three categories for the upcoming 2012 XBIZ Awards.

The company was nominated in the BDSM Pleasure Products Company of the Year, Marketing Campaign of the Year, and Excellence in Product Packaging categories.

Sportsheets said it works to create fun and friendly fantasy items which straddle the line between the mainstream and fetish product realms.

“We are honored to be recognized for our hard work in this sector of the adult retail market,” Sportsheets CEO Tom Stewart said. “Sportsheets was founded on mainstreaming fantasy play with top quality products that consumers of all sexual lifestyles can — and do — try and it’s a pleasure to have been nominated by our friends and colleagues.”

Sportsheets  Sex & Mischief collection of fantasy-play accessories was named for its product packaging and accompanying marketing campaign comprised of high-fashion imagery and display designs.

“Sex & Mischief took months of development and having these nominations under our belt has validated all of our hard work,” said Julie Stewart,  Sportsheets vice president.

“S&M features the best marketing campaign Sportsheets International has ever launched  and this nomination shows the industry agrees.

The 2012 XBIZ Awards show, presented by MyFreeCams.com, is scheduled to take place Jan. 10.
