2much.net Reaps 3 XBIZ Award Nominations

MONTREAL — Live video chat company 2much.net has earned three XBIZ Award nominations.

As well as the software company award, 2much.net has added the Progressive Web/Tech Company of the year to its nominations as well as having its "video social networking" application Miricam branded one of the Innovative Web/Tech Products of the year.

2much.net founder Mark Prince was not expecting the win.

"It was surprising and exhilarating," Prince said. "For the most part, endless hours of hard work and the accomplishments it can generate can go mostly unnoticed to users and customers, so actual recognition by the industry itself always feels great."

Two upgrades to its "complete live video chat solution" LiveCamNetwork and a new software soft-launch later, Prince said his company is surprised and re-energized by the triple nomination.

"Three awards is not enough. After winning each award I found myself pursuing a new goal," Prince said. "How can we make our products better, and make them so good that we are not only nominated, but win the award again next year?”

The company's consumer webcam site, LiveCamNetwork.com has also won "Best Webcams" awards in earlier years.

The 2012 XBIZ Awards show, presented by MyFreeCams.com, is scheduled to take place Jan. 10.
