Dreamgirl International Expands Fetish Diamond Line

LOS ANGELES — Citing mainstream trends, Dreamgirl International has expanded its Fetish Diamond line in both hanging and packaged lingerie with new fabrics that have stretch but maintain a glossy look.

“The glossy stretch knit with spandex combination lends itself to a sultry vixen look and is complimented by the edgy caged details along the neckline, décolleté and posterior,” the company said.

Designs in the Fetish Diamond collection feature an intersection of straps that is reminiscent of Japanese rope tying technique called “Kinbaku,” which “intricately wraps and knots fine ropes to create a beautiful design using the body as the canvas,” the company said.

“We see the fetish category as an important area of growth in our lingerie business,” said Susan Feldman, Dreamgirl’s senior vice president of merchandising and design. “Our packaged and hanging lingerie assortments feature ‘fashion forward fetish’ designs that complement with our bold new merchandising of Toy, DVD, and Bedroom Costume Diamond lines. We have developed several areas for this sexy edgy look to be incorporated. We pair caged and lattice style lingerie with both Toy and DVD Diamond for 2012.”

Dreamgirl’s “fashion forward fetish” concept ranges from diamond net mesh babydolls with chain details that have an attached gag ball to a studded architectural lattice teddy with removable leash paired with a couple’s DVD from the Sinclair Institute.

Dreamgirl introduced a new style this year — nipple clamps on long silver tone chain with an attached an intimate toy. Dreamgirl further enhances the décolleté with buckles that can tighten and push up one’s assets. To encourage couple’s play sessions Dreamgirl says it has included paddles, eye masks and matching wrist restraints with numerous designs.
