East Coast News, Doc Johnson Award Display Contest Winners

BRADENTON, Fla. — East Coast News and Doc Johnson recently concluded a collaborative retail display contest and have chosen XTC Adult Super Center of Bradenton as the grand prize winner.

According to the company, the participating retailers were encouraged to rethink their merchandising and create inviting Doc Johnson product displays during the month of September and send the resulting images to ECN.

“I’m so honored,” XTC’s Angel Camacho said.  “I couldn’t have done it without the great support we receive from both Doc Johnson and East Coast News.”

Doc Johnson will award the retailer with the grand prize: a new iPad and a $100 Amex gift card.

“XTC put together a fantastic and comprehensive Doc Johnson display,” Doc Johnson’s sales executive Kerin DeFrancis said. “They were able to showcase our line in a way that allows shoppers to get a real sense of who we are.”

Doc Johnson also will be awarding prizes to two contest runners up, and said that both they and East Coast News would like to thank all the participants of the contest.

“I’m so proud of them,” ECN account rep Eileen Roney said.  “They took this contest and ran away with it.”

According to the company, East Coast News is no stranger to promoting merchandising concepts, and its staff is encouraged to regularly discuss presentation with retailers.

“A lot of brick and mortar stores are attracting a more eclectic clientele these days,” Roney said. “We do our best to help them create an environment that customers will respond well to.”
