VAN NUYS, Calif. — Pleasure Productions and Evolution Distribution have announced the release of the "Historic Erotica 5-Pack," a collection of movies from the Golden Age of adult cinema that will be available on Thursday.
From the dawn of motion pictures, circa the late 19th century, people felt compelled to record and view each other during their most intimate of moments. Even throughout this early period, the fornication featured here easily dispels all the puritanical expectations of the era. Acts that one would assume to be taboo for the time, such as lesbianism, threesomes and orgies, occur regularly throughout each of these films, the company said.
This rare glimpse into archaic erotica begins in the late 1800’s and reaches into the early 1960’s. Whether it’s silent, black and white, or sepia tone, more than 35 scenes provide an arousing look into the private lives of several intrepid filmmakers.
Included in the box-set are the titles: "Olde Time Erotica," "Vintage Erotica from the 40’s," "Vintage Erotica from the 50’s," "Classics: Erotica from the Past," and "Antique Erotica."
