AEBN VOD Trend Report: Customers Like Variety of Titles

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Despite the strong genre trends that ruled over the summer, customers were interested in a variety of titles in the last month, according to AEBN's VOD Trend Report for September.

The company reported that the top 10 most-watched titles were Elegant Angel's "Hard Bodies" followed by Girlfriends Films' "Lesbian Seductions 31" and West Coast Productions' "Super Anal Cougars."

Next were Vivid's feature "The Condemned" and Marc Dorcel's "European Orgy — The XXX Championship."

Vouyer Media also made the top ten with "Massage Parlor Mayhem" and Devil's Film made a strong showing with its Internet-speak title, "OMG I Fucked My Daughter's BFF."

Reality Junkies' "Couples Seeking Teens 7," "Cum Fart Cocktails 8" from Red Light District, and Doghouse Digital with "Bisexual Hitchhikers 2" rounded out the 10 most-watched movies of September.

AEBN said that unlike in months past, there wasn't a strong niche preference among its VOD users, although many of the same studios continue to be represented in the most watched title lists from month to month.

"While our users haven't expressed a clear interest in one genre or the other, they have shown an interest in some of the highest quality examples of those niches," said Jerry Anders, vice president of sales and marketing.

He added,"The movies we see among our most watched are the ones from producers who have great experience and knowledge in their niches, which has translated into great content that people love to watch."

As part of the report, AEBN released the following geographical statistics: the "horniest" cities in Maine were Portland, Sanford and Bangor, while the horniest cities in Germany were Berlin, Munich and Frankfurt.
