FameDollars Launches Visual Scrubber Tool

MONTREAL —- FameDollars.com, a division of Gamma Entertainment, has launched a new video feature tool called visual scrubber.

Existing playback controls allow users to play, pause, rewind and fast-forward through the scenes. With the launching of visual scrubbing, the company said members now have the alternative to toggle between scenes of the video they are watching via thumbnails and in high speed.

"In line with our continued efforts to enhance existing features and upgrade user interaction with our sites, visual scrubbing offers surfers the option to browse through our scenes easily with on-screen visual cues showing different action at different stages,"  said Magalie Rheault, FameDollars’ director of product and development.

"Members can then quickly isolate the scene that they want to watch and start the movie there."

The company said user behavior data shows that the percentage of surfers scrolling and clicking the video timeline is high.

"We are very proud to incorporate this new feature on our sites,” Gamma President Karl Bernard said. "Our utmost goal is always to find ways to improve the experience of our users."

This feature is available in both the free tour and member’s area.
