LOS ANGELES — Ashlynn Brooke, who retired from performing last year, is making final preparations to launch AshGoesInside.com, a membership site that will consist of video interviews, solo scenes and photo sets with prominent adult stars in an up-close and personal style.
Brooke will be the host and interviewer, appearing on camera with her adult star guests.
“In the interview I’ll be trying to tell their stories outside of the adult industry,” Brooke told XBIZ. “From my perspective being retired, my fans are now seeing the person I am outside of adult. I’m not doing any more adult content, but I’m involved in the site as much as possible as just Ashley. I’m not re-inventing the wheel, but I want to do something that’s more outside of the typical adult interview.”
The first two guests on AshGoesInside.com are Taylor Vixen, the 2010 Penthouse Pet of the Year, and fan favorite Kristina Rose.
“I wanted to use two girls that are obviously popular but totally different,” Brooke said. “Taylor is the ultimate girl next door who only performs with girls and keeps herself very refined for the business. And Kristina Rose is one of the busiest girls who does everything. She’s very edgy and funny. She’s more of the bad girl. I kind of wanted that contrast for my first two.”
Brooke continued, “I wanted to have girls who would be honest with me in the interview about their lives outside of porn and their plans for the future. I really feel like I got that with these girls.”
She said her upcoming guests would include performers Andy San Dimas and Asa Akira.
“I have a whole list,” Brooke said, adding that the interview style is “‘E! True Hollywood Story’ meets ‘20/20,’ meets adult.”
“We have two or three cameras going at one time,” Brooke said. “I really want to capture the girl's emotions and energy.”
The solo performances will include full nudity and some toy play, Brooke said.
The native of Oklahoma has directed five titles for Mile High Media since retiring from doing scenes in January 2010. Her directorial credits include “Red Riding Hood XXX,” “Wonder Woman XXX” and “Millionaire Matchmaker XXX.”
Brooke has posted three teaser videos on her AshGoesInside YouTube channel in advance of the launch.
