LAFD Porn Shoots Were Not Planned, Manwin Says

LOS ANGELES — As the investigation continues into the Los Angeles city firefighters whose trucks were allegedly featured in two AssesInPublic.com porn shoots, Manwin officials are refuting various local reports suggesting that the shoots were planned in advance.

“Our film crew in that shoot stumbled upon a fire truck and just did a shoot on it,” a company official said. “We asked no one, it was just sitting there.”

Performers Charley Chase and Mariah Milano, who participated in the shoots, also said that the shoots were not staged.

“There was no setup to that day at all,” Chase wrote in her blog. “The fire fighters watched me troll the beach from a distance, but were not involved in us invading the truck. I love how news people bend and twist the stories they report to better suit their point.”

L.A. fire department Battalion Chief Glenn Miyagishima told XBIZ that the firefighters will not be prosecuted because the shoots, which happened in 2008, fall outside the bounds of a two-year statute of limitations set in the city’s charter. But he said, an investigation is still ongoing.

"This is still an active administrative investigation," he said, adding that the department will make recommendations to the fire chief based on the findings of the investigation.

Because the investigation is still active, Miyagishima could not confirm whether officials have contacted Manwin.
