ANME Show Joins Forces With XBIZ Retail Expo

LOS ANGELES — XBIZ is pleased to announce that the 2012 XBIZ Retail Expo will be held  Jan. 9-10, immediately following the ANME Show at the same venue, the Marriot Burbank Airport hotel in Burbank, Calif., featuring ANME Founders: Pipedream Products, CalExotics, Nasstoys, Doc  Johnson and Topco Sales.

“We’re very excited to work with XBIZ,” said Nick Orlandino, Pipedream’s CEO and Managing Director of ANME. “Pipedream has always had an excellent business relationship with XBIZ and now ANME will, too. This partnership is the future of trade shows.”

While the ANME Show focuses on creating an intimate event for key buyers and manufacturers to meet and showcase the latest in adult toys and novelties, XBIZ Retail caters to “everything adult retail" and is open to everyone in the field, including buyers, store/company owners and operations managers among others.

“Uniting our industry by combining the prestige and power of the ANME Show and the XBIZ Retail Show will provide our customers, and our customer’s customers, with a streamlined, more efficient path to our newest products and collections,” CalExotics President and CEO Susan Colvin said. “Piggybacking the shows means less traveling, more networking opportunities, and more time for doing business for all involved. I’m excited about this new tradeshow model and look forward to seeing everyone in January, along with the entire California Exotic Novelties team.”

XBIZ Retail exhibitors will consist of novelty manufacturers, lingerie, video, books as well as distributors and business solution/service providers. It also will include the industry-leading trade show staple components that have become synonymous with XBIZ brand B2B events, including world-class seminars, innumerable opportunities for networking with industry leaders, keynote speeches and special events.

“The semi-annual ANME shows are the most valuable events for us and having the show extended only serves to make this an even more exciting prospect for January,” said Chad Braverman, Doc Johnson’s director of product development. “We’re looking forward to seeing a great impact with XBIZ Retail and spending time engaging old friends and growing new relationships.”

The 2012 XBIZ Retail Expo will bring together all segments of the adult retail marketplace, including e-tailers, home party organizers, wholesalers and manufacturers of all types of adult goods for an event unlike any other.

“The revamped XBIZ Retail will unite wholesalers and manufacturers from all sectors with retailers of all sizes and backgrounds for a monumental gathering and disseminating of diverse ideas, tools and networking opportunities,” Sales Director Sara Sazzman said.

"Come January, ANME and XBIZ will deliver the perfect mix giving retailers of all sizes the ultimate opportunity to learn about the hottest products, gain competitive knowledge about the latest market trends and perhaps most importantly, meet and schmooze with the biggest names in adult retail." XBIZ President and Publisher Alec Helmy said. "What we're doing here is delivering the ultimate 4-day show experience."

XBIZ Retail Expo will be held in conjunction with the highly anticipated 10th annual XBIZ Awards and the 2012 XBIZ LA digital media conference. The 2012 XBIZ Awards marks the 10th anniversary of the biggest industry awards show.
