BARCELONA — Private Media Group on Wednesday said it inked a distibution deal with European-based adult production company Magik View Entertainment.
Private this month will begin distributing five Magik View titles each month using its current worldwide distribution network.
Private will first release all Magik View titles via IPTV/VoD, broadcast/Sat-TV/cable and online channels, with DVD releases to follow later.
Magik View produces script-led adult movies and owns an unreleased catalog of 60 full-length movies and more than 350 vignettes.
Many of studio director and founder Ettore Buchi's movies use up to seven cameras filming simultaneously to create seamless Hollywood-style productions.
"There is a current need and demand for the high quality movies we are producing," Bucci said. "This new strategic alliance is the perfect combination to launch our content to a global audience."
In recent months, the company has been trying to live up to its slogan, "You ain't seen nothing yet."
The company in May embarked upon one of the most ambitious adult movie projects ever.
Magik View shot eighteen movies with 47 stars and four directors in 11 days on a cruise liner in the Aegean Sea.
One of the movies shot aboard the ship is included among Private's first releases of Magik View's content.
Private Media Group's CEO Berth Milton said that the deal will add significantly to the bottom line in the company's fourth quarter.
