HILLSBOROUGH, N.C. — Adam & Eve debuted KillerBodiesXXX.com today, the official website for its interactive “Killer Bodies: The Awakening” DVD.
The company said the content-rich site was developed to aid retailers and e-tailers in promoting the “choose-your-own-adventure, adult movie.”
A XXX trailer, exclusive photos, product information, box art, news and press are part of the new site. Consumers also get a peek at the film’s star Tori Black, Adam & Eve contract girls Alexis Ford and Teagan Presley, as well as Bree Olson, Raylene, Jessica Jaymes and Brooke Lee Adams.
“It is more important than ever to aid retailers in marketing movies,” said Bob Christian Adam & Eve vice president.
“The ‘Killer Bodies’ website is a great tool to show consumers this amazing, interactive movie. The hot trailer and sexy photos of the girls will pique their curiosity, and the five hours of choose-your-own-adventure excitement will hook them.”
In addition to the website, Adam & Eve said the interactive format of the movie is a great support to retailers and e-tailers. In order to get the full experience and 32 possible variations of the movie’s 10 sex scenes, consumers will have to purchase the DVD. This virtually eliminates the potential for piracy.
The company noted that it also employs Takedown Piracy to ensure individual scenes remain off the Internet.
Created and directed by David Lord, the film centers around Black, whose character is a privileged girl who gets kidnapped and is forced to endure a barrage of horrifying and erotic encounters while trying to unravel a mystery. In the interactive revenge-thriller, viewers control the action and the sex scenes to help Black’s character teach the ultimate lesson — revenge is a bitch.
Adam & Eve contract star Ford said, “It was great working with David [Lord] on such a cutting-edge movie. I think ‘Killer Bodies’ is going to change the adult entertainment industry by providing a much more interactive experience. After all, the industry keeps evolving in ways to bring performers and fans closer together.”
The movie totals four hours and 46 minutes and is scheduled for release on Blu-ray disc in late August. The currently available three-disc DVD set contains special features, including a bonus scene, bloopers, monitor loops, Internet promo, casting call, behind-the-scenes movies, behind-the-scenes galleries, interviews, photo galleries, hidden egg, trailers, web info, phone sex info, director commentary and an interview with Lord.
