XBIZ Announces January 2012 Show Dates for XBIZ LA, XBIZ Retail, XBIZ Awards

LOS ANGELES — XBIZ is pleased to announce Jan. 9-11 as the official dates encompassing its 2012 slate of winter events: XBIZ LA, XBIZ Retail and the 10th annual XBIZ Awards.

“We’re pleased to have addressed the feedback of our valued sponsors and exhibitors with these new dates,” XBIZ Events Manager Moe Helmy said. “With many exciting event plans in the works, this move presents an opportunity for perfecting the XBIZ-brand event experience.”

Digital media conference XBIZ LA returns to the Sofitel Hotel Jan. 9-11 with another round of world-class seminars, exclusive technology presentations, dynamic business-networking and Mix & Meet sessions and exclusive special events.

“The 2012 XBIZ LA conference promises to be a celebrated homecoming following the XBIZ EU international digital media conference this year,” XBIZ Executive Director of Business Development Kristen Kaye said, “and through XBIZ’s expanding acknowledgement of the worldwide adult entertainment industry, the 2012 XBIZ Awards is set to be the grandest ever.”

The second annual XBIZ Retail Expo will be held concurrently, Jan. 9-10, at the Marriot Burbank Airport hotel in Burbank, Calif., immediately following the ANME Show (Jan. 7-8).

“We’re pleased to present a revamped XBIZ Retail Expo in 2012,” XBIZ Sales Director Sara Sazzman said. “With growing support from the adult retail community and pleasure products industry, XBIZ Retail will break new ground in presenting the ideas, tools and opportunities that drive the market; and honor the business’ top innovators at the 2012 XBIZ Awards.”

The 2012 XBIZ Awards marks the 10th anniversary of the biggest industry awards show. Coincidentally, falling on Jan. 10, the grand red carpet gala event will once again serve as the annual epicenter of the adult industry as the culmination of XBIZ LA and XBIZ Retail events.

“XBIZ has always been on the forefront of meeting industry demand to the fullest extent possible,” XBIZ President and Publisher Alec Helmy said. “Our new winter event dates reflect a move that will best serve the needs of today’s evolved industry.”
