iPhone App Launched for Google+

SUNNYVALE, Calif. — Google today has announced the launch of an iOS app to use its Google Plus service.

“Share just the right stuff, with just the right circles,” said Vic Gundotra, Google senior vice president.

According to the search engine giant, Google Plus has reached more than 10 million since its launch and is still growing. Google did issue an Android app for users, but customers were left with only the web interface, CNET reported.

“Google+ for mobile makes sharing the right things with the right people a lot simpler,” the company said. “Huddle lets you send super-fast messages to the people you care about most. And no matter where you are, the stream lets you stay in the loop about what your friends are sharing and where they’re checking in.”

The iOS version features circles where users can share things with who they want, stream where users can get updates from their circles or see what people are saying about things nearby and huddle, which is fast group-messaging for people in the user’s circle.
