The film, which begins shooting Feb. 26 in a Malibu, Calif.-based mansion, will be co-directed by JJF President Jennifer James and Ecstasy Films President Brooke Hunter.
As the name implies, “Reunion” brings three college friends together a decade after they’ve left school.
Hunter launched Ecstasy Films with the goal of writing and directing adult movies for both women and couples. As such, she said each feature put out by the company would include sensual fantasy, hardcore sex and a developed storyline.
Hunter said the collaboration with James would help her achieve that goal.
“I’m thrilled to have Jennifer on this project,” Hunter said. “She is a dear friend and enjoys a long-standing reputation for her skill in producing quality adult features. Ecstasy Films is following the path that JJF choose many years ago, and it’s appropriate that Jennifer is right there beside me as I head out on that same path.”
“Reunion” stars Hunter, Shayla LaVeaux, Sara Stone, Tyla Wynn, Eva Angelina, Sophie Dee, Evan Stone, Nick Manning, Lee Stone and Don Hollywood. The film will be shot and edited in high-definition and distributed through Platinum Blue Productions.
James said JJF would be handling all of Ecstasy Films’ editing in the studio’s new high-def equipped post-production facility.
“Brooke is such an intense director; she’s completely involved in every aspect of a production,” James said. “I am looking forward to working on this project with Ecstasy Films because Brooke has wanted to tell this story for a very long time. It is nothing short of a total expression of her passion as a woman and as a director.”
